Labeling systems

Application:

RADWAG labeling systems are weighing applications equipped with a label printer. The system is dedicated for lebeling weighed goods, for instance in packaging process. The allows for printing labels after single weighing, on completion of package weighing (cumulative label) or on completion of batch weighing (cc label). Labeling process is presently accessible with any RADWAG scales and balances construced with application of PUE C41, PUE5 and PUE7 indicators. Labeling systems are also accessible with impact printers, which are useful for printing receipts according to previously set printout.

Functionality and possibilities of a labeling system:

  • Three modes of printing cumulative and cc labels on labeling scales:
      .  manually
      .  by label counter,
      .  by set value of product mass;
  • Cooperation with label and receipt printers;
  • Setting the scale as a control scale (+/- weighing result control);
  • Previewing of completed weighing processes on indicator in a form of a table containing weighing records;
  • Creating label templates from indicator level on scales based on PUE5 indicator; creating label templates using LABEL EDITOR R01 software in cooperation with scales based on PUE7 indicator; copying labels to scale using USB flash memory;
  • Identification of products by barcodes EAN-13 and EAN-128;
  • Application of barcode scanners connected to indicators and constituting for a labeling system;
  • Quick search of products by application of a barcode scanner;
  • Cooperation with precision balances, which are determined as additional platform;
  • Scales of a labeling system used to generate:
      .  standard labels for matching single goods,
      .  cumulative labels for matching cumulative containters,
      .  cc labels for matching containers with cumulative packages;
  • Uploading labels from computer level directly to labeling scales;
  • Managing databases from computer level;
  • Generating simple reports with application of reporting module on indicators series PUE5;
  • Labeling system indicators are set for cooperation with "LABEL EDITOR" computer software.
  

Structure and functioning:

RADWAG labeling systems are designed on basis of RADWAG labeling scales and dedicated label or receipt printers which are connected to indicators series PUE C41, PUE5 or PUE7. A system can constitute several scales which are connected  through available interfaces: Ethernet, RS485 or RS232.

Designing labels is possible through "LABEL EDITOR R01" computer software, which is delivered with labeling scales.

LABEL EDITOR R01 software generates:
  • standard labels for matching single goods,
  • cumulative labels for matching cumulative containters,
  • cc labels for matching containers with cumulative packages.

In case of scales based on indicator series PUE C41, the labels can be downloaded to scale memory with "EDITOR WPW" computer software. The software communicates with the scale through interfaces: RS 232, RS 485 (available baud rates settings: 2400 - 115200 bit/s) or ETHERNET.

In case of scales based on indicator series PUE7, the labels are designed in a LABEL EDITOR R01 computer softwar, and require naming as *.lb. Such labels can be transferred from computer to scale by copying them to portable USB flash drive, which is then plugged to scale. The label is uploaded directly to scale.

Application:

RADWAG thanks to its standard solutions, as well as non-standard applications, combined with very good functionality of the labeling systems can recommand them for the following branches:

  • Bakery industry;
  • Any other industry branch, where simultaneous labeling of goods or groups of goods is required during weighng process.
