Radwag dosing systems are combined with external automation systems, which consist of control and executive components. Such devices give option of automatic, semi-automatic or manual dosing of loose substances and liquids. Design and functions:

RADWAG dosing systems are designed on basis of RADWAG weighing instruments (dosing scales) or RADWAG indicators and dedicated blocks for adapting the system to cooperation with an existing (or under construction) automatics in a plant. Commonly, dosing systems are implemented into existing technological lines. RADWAG company offers its assistance in implementation of a weighing system into existing technological lines.

A system can include dedicated control panels, selected according to customer needs (system functionality), and chosen from control panels offered by RADWAG. Control panels can be manufactured by RADWAG (additional controlling box) or adapted from already existing controlling boxes at customer’s location, both depending on customer needs.

Dosing process is often connected to simple formulation, thus dosing systems can be constructed on basis of E2R Network Management of Weighing System.

Dosing systems can also be constructed with application of vibrating feeders, offered by RADWAG. In case of dosing of loose or granulate substances, please focus on RADWAG WAD - batching scales  - for multi-track batching.

A new design among dosing scales is a system based on dosing scales for fish – RADWAG RPW series – which enables dosing of various kinds of fish.

 

Accessible dosing modes:

      • In line dosing – substances are measured and dosed in line;
      • Parallel dosing – simultaneous dosing of substances to all containers;
      • Fine dosing;
      • Measurement of mass accompanied by measurement of dosed mass flow;
      • Automatic Dosing– operator has to select a product, and insert mass of weighed product. The process is initiated from scale indicator level. The process runs automatically and weighing result is saved in weighing database (E2R Network Management of Weighing System);
      • Manual Dosing – requires full control of an operator, who switches on and off the valves in right time. System does not control weighing process of a substance. As the substance is weighed, the data is not saved in weighing database;
      • Service mode - used in maintenance activities. It also allows for controlling pumps.

Main applications for a dosing systems are:
      • Manufacturing food industry (food industry plants);
      • Manufacturing chemical industry (chemical plants);
      • Manufacturing mechanical industry (mechanical elements plants);
      • Any other manufacturing market branch, which requires dosing, measuring, and weighing of products or components.

  • PC computer with software for supervision over system operation;
  • Dosing scales with level sensors;
  • Container for dosed substances;
